Wireframes for Obesity Charity
Project type
research, accessibility, wireframes, high fidelity
A leading obesity charity (name + logo hidden) needed a complete website redesign to make their new content more user friendly. Working with website management company, more time to, my brief was to improve accessibility and navigation across a large body of information, ensuring users - from the general public to healthcare professionals, could easily find and flow through relevant content.
I created the initial wireframes with a focus on intuitive user journeys and a structure that could support large amounts of content. After conducting navigation audits to identify pain points in the existing site, I developed a clear information architecture divided into five main sections. To improve usability, I designed a dual-navigation system — a primary dropdown menu for high-level access and a secondary navigation bar for easy movement within each section. I also added smart “next section” buttons at the end of every page to encourage smooth, linear progression through the content and keep users engaged throughout the site.
